Kardome, the voice recognition and voice control specialist company, announced a strategic collaboration with LG Electronics to integrate its multiuser Spatial Hearing AI solution into LG's next-generation smart devices. Kardome is confident that it can surpass recognized challenges for relatively far-field voice interactions with TVs and other devices, even in noisy environments, with its technology's ability to isolate each user's voice from background noise.

xMEMS Designs Thinner Microspeaker Engineered for Smart Watches and Fitness Bands
Following the debut of the original Sycamore microspeaker in late 2024, xMEMS Labs is already working on expanding the technology to even thinner form factors with the Sycamore-W. This new full-range driver is an evolution of the company's Cypress "sound from ultrasound" MEMS platform introduced in 2023, and currently waiting for the results of safety reports on long-term ultrasound exposure for humans. xMEMS is confident in those reports and is doubling down with the even thinner, Sycamore-W.

Among the multiple updates disclosed in the event, the French company included a completely new solution for live DJ performances, adding automatic source separation directly running in the L-ISA Processor II, controlled by an updated L-ISA Controller with the brand-new L-Acoustics DJ App.

Nugen Audio, the UK-based developer of professional loudness metering/correction, mixing/mastering, and audio analysis software tools, as now introduced a new speech intelligibility plug-in, DialogCheck. Peter Freedman Acquires Lectrosonics. Announces Røde and Mackie Manufacturing in the US
The Freedman Group, the parent company 100% owned by Peter Freedman, owner of Røde, Mackie, Aphex, SoundField, and Event Electronics, has revealed the acquisition of Lectrosonics, the globally renowned US manufacturer of professional wireless audio systems. Lectrosonics' motto is "Made in the USA by a Bunch of Fanatics" and mirrors the fact that the company manufactures all of its products in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Peter Freedman, wants to expand those operations to also manufacture Mackie products in the US.

PSI Audio Unveils A226-MAIN Three-Way Main Studio Monitor
PSI Audio unveiled its latest A226-MAIN, an active three-way studio monitor, designed for main monitors and mastering applications. Two 10-inch woofers in symmetrical configuration combine with an all-new aluminum coil tweeter and the company’s Extended Dome (EXD) midrange driver. Touted as the pinnacle of PSI Audio speaker development, the Swiss company rates the A226-MAIN to cover the entire 20Hz to 23kHz frequency spectrum with a maximum SPL level of 112dB as per AES 75 standard.

Microsoft Recommends Philips SpeechMike Premium Touch as the Successor to Nuance PowerMic
